LUNG ABSCESS - A CASE REPORT

ABSTRACT
We present a case of 70 yr old known asthmatic male who came to emergency department with the complaints of fever, right hypochondrial pain and loose motion over a period of days. On examination signs of liver abscess were present confirmed by relevant investigations. He was kept on antibiotics but over a matter of days his condition deteriorated and on repeated investigations he turned out to have right lung abscess. The initial diagnosis and investigation were done on the lines of liver abscess and on final diagnosis he was found to be suffering from lung abscess.
