ABSTRACT

Pakistan is said to be under triple burden of disease where we have not only the poor control on communicable and non communicable diseases but a rising magnitude of accidents including mass injuries out of terrorism. The consequences and predisposition are well established everywhere. Ingenuity, knowledge and organization alter but cannot cancel humanity's vulnerability to invasion by parasitic forms of life. Infectious diseases which antedated the emergence of mankind will last as long as humanity itself, and will surely remain, as it has been hitherto, one of the fundamental parameters and determinants of disease in human history (William H.
